dave is a RED HOt candy although he is a pretty chill dude. either that or a maraschino cherry idk actually. he uses a plastic knife to stick things and ward off projectiles and has the power to make a copy of himself which makes things confusing quick
jade is based off milky way bars and she shoots caramel blobs that will mess u up and she can phase through some parts of the race course while all the other chumps have to go around them

1: i snuck in the state flower of washington into john’s illustration haHA…also there is a dead soggy worm right next to him…which is our state animal. dead soggy worms. at my house, we have a big pacific rhododendron shrubbery in our front yard but ours blooms in summer instead of spring so I CHEATED…
2: i had to write “autumn” even though i usually call it fall because the other three seasons all have SIX LETTERS AND IT WAS TOO PERFECT TO RUIN THE SET BY NOT USING THE SIX-LETTER SYNONYM FOR FALL
